It is 1890 and Hogwarts has fallen pray to the will of a new Headmistress, after the most recent one, Gertrav Zabat, had been taken away on Ministry business. Without any date of his return, Deputy Headmistress Calypsia has taken the seat of Headmistress. Since that, death seems to roam the halls and everyone could become its next victim. Even though Hogwarts is not safe, the parents seem unaware of the truth, believing the new Headmistress to be handling this problem better than Gertrav and so they send their kids back for another year. With Headmistress Calypsia Viduata, the perfect replacement, in control it seems only darkness rules within the halls of Hogwarts and we all fall prey. So the only question left to ask is...what will you do when darkness knocks upon the door?

The new students at Hogwarts are rising up to the challenge left by the generation before them, defending Hogwarts and the wizarding world from the clutches of Lord Voldemort. While many are still blissfully unaware that he indeed survived, the ministry is leaving the fate of the wizarding world in the hands of... teenagers.
Yes, those children still lost in their adolescent years. A loyal Gryffindor with a real backbone. The serious Slytherin traitor. The quiet Gryffindor werewolf. A Ravenclaw hiding more than meets the eye. Throw in a few strange professors, and you have probably the most chaotic situation. Slip a note to that long-time crush a seat in front of you to ask them out. Finish your studies and get those incredible grades. Or murder that muggle-born who's always in your way. It's all just part of that confusing journey to adulthood.

The dark lord has gone ahead and kept some of his old followers, but there are a few new faces in his most trusted. While his main target is the school, too much turmoil has been unfolding. He's been recruiting students, the new members turning against others, deaths and disappearances occurring on a regular basis.
Death eaters aren't the most... balanced bunch either. Rarely does the Dark Lord let in those who he doesn't completely have faith in, but it doesn't stop everyone. Some are the sadistic ones who lost their marbles quite some time ago. A few are still locked up in the hell house that is Azkaban. And Hogwarts students...? Maybe not the most reliable, since they betray and completely fear Voldemort, but perfect spies, yes?
Become a part of this two-year madness. Whether your character turns out to be the average student with their problems including the large essay Lakris assigned and the scar from Care of Magical Creatures with Natia, or possibly you're another part of the fight. A loyal death eater, the neutral pathfinder, maybe a brave heart among the young witches and wizards who always end up in the fires of war against the Dark Lord. Whatever destiny you choose, you are always welcome at Hogwarts, especially during the return of Lord Voldemort.

24 years ago, Voldemort was defeated by Harry Potter. Everyone thought the war was over. There was peace throughout the land. That is, until now. The recent escape of Death Eaters from Azkaban prison has the Ministry in a panic. The new Minister Of Magic, Hermione Weasley, doesn't know what to do. There is a new Dark Lord wreaking havoc through out the Wizarding World. Its none other than Bellatrix Lestrange.
How could this happen? Wasn't she killed by Molly Weasley? Truth is, someone who looked like her was killed that May 2nd day. Voldemort feared something would go wrong in the final battle. To make sure his thrown was safe, he ordered his most trusted death eater to go into hiding. He got another death eater to drink a Polyjuice Potion and pretend to be Bellatrix.

The Marauders have spent the past year working for the Order of the Phoenix, a secret group created to counter Lord Voldemort and his followers. As the war reaches its peak, a group of pro-Muggle extremists begin to target purebloods - even blood traitors. Every day is another bloody battle, regardless of surnames and ancestry.
Sanctuary is an intermediate-to-advanced game with an R rating - not suitable for children (or those of a nervous disposition!). Our emphasis is on quality of writing - not quantity - and a happy, tightly-knit community of friends. Roleplaying trends are largely ignored, from our skin to our handles - no coded plotting pages here, sorry! We need creative, intelligent and above all, friendly players to help shape our future. Although we have many canons free, we also have a thriving original character population.

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the year is 2018. the Dark Lord Voldemort was defeated and again there was peace in the Wizarding and Muggle worlds alike. All was as it should be, no one left their houses fearing for their lives and the Death Eaters were no more... Or are they?
Underground, secret meetings are being held. The still failful Death Eaters meet to discuss their options for a new leader. Brutal arguments have broken out, a few Death Eaters have been killed, and not one of them can decide which one of them should be the new Dark Lord and take over where Voldemort left off. A dark young being approches, blacker and more evil than even Voldemort was...
Harry, being the Chosen One, thinks he will have to fight again to save his friends and family, but it might not be him. Somewhere a prophecy was made about another boy or girl who would be the one to save the Wizarding World and once again bring peace.
Who is this new Dark Lord? Will he or she be as terrible as Voldemort or will they be more fearsome? The Chosen One again? Or will a new Hero rise from the ashes to save us all?

A Secret Affair It was a secret, lust filled meeting where boundaries were crossed and innhibitions were forgotten. Neither of them knew what would come of their union. Bellatrix Lestrange and Lord Voldemort made it so no one would ever find out. Not even their own son. their deaths ignighted the begininnings of the next Wizarding War.
A Forgotten Son A secret affair between two infamous wizards spawned the next dark lord. Not even he knew what his future held, for Benjamin Banks did not know his true identity. It was only too late when he discovered the truth. After the Battle of Hogwarts, the wizarding world spent quite some time in a peaceful period. Ben, however, could not keep his mind clear. There was no stopping him from seeking revenge for the death of his parents.
An Unknown Savior James Sirius Potter was famous and he hated it. Being the eldest son of The Chosen One set extremely high expectations. Despite his clumsy and shy demeanor, something virtuous ran through his veins. He had the blood of a hero. This summer, Audio Riot Management has organized one of the biggest tours with the most prominent bands under their contracts -- hey, if you're managed by someone from AR, you've got it made. It doesn't matter what label you're on or what kind of music you play -- you're here for the passion and the dedication, the fans and the adrenaline rush of performance.
